On receiving your confirmation for me to proceed with a garden design,
an accurate survey of the existing garden is conducted either by me or,
in the case of larger or more complex gardens, by a qualified land
surveyor.
This survey will determine items such as position of the property and its boundaries; windows; trees; location of services; levels (ground heights) within the garden; existing features etc. Once I have drawn up the survey results to scale, diagrammatic and written observations will be recorded highlighting issues including vistas; prevailing wind direction; climatic conditions; soil type; sun and shade; drainage problems etc. Please note: I am able to conduct the site survey on gardens up to a certain size and complexity. Should a qualified land surveyor be necessary, the surveyor’s fee will be paid by the client direct to the surveyor. |
